Design Projects
This page showcases design projects that take a UX view on solving various social issues or aim to make user journeys easier. The projects gave me an opportunity to use my skills and create solutions based on Human Interaction principles.

Rental Project
(Reducing the rental crisis in NSW)
Research,Findings & Heuristic Evaluation.
This project focused on using design thinking to create solutions to the housing crisis in New South Wales. The team and I created an app whose design elements implemented features that aimed at reducing the rent crisis. These features included optimized search options based on transport routes, landlord reviews, and the rental needs of users. This work was done and iterated through wire framing, site mapping, and the use of prototypes and mockups informed by research based on customer needs, heuristic evaluation, and iterations of the design.

WheelCart
This project focused on the creation of a human-centred solution to autonomous grocery delivery to support individuals limited by autoimmune illnesses that limit human interaction. It required research, the use of wireframing, mockup, and prototyping(Adobe XD, Photoshop) tools to showcase an app based solution.
03
Educational VR.
This group project focused on the creation of a VR application that will support the induction process of educational institutions. This is the use of various tools to wireframe, prototyping, research, and user testing. This prototype created an introductory VR system that would be key in helping new students navigate new life in the University of Sydney. Key considerations included, the need for more time to test out bugs and refine material elements within the design of key elements.

This was a group project that involved helping young offenders comprehend court processes easier as they go through the system. After research, we found the key issue to be comprehension. This was due to cognitive literacy and traumatic considerations while going through the legal system. The brief was reframed to focus on bail and how to make communication easier to comprehend for young offenders. This included methodologies such as starbusting, My solution was a printable calendar as a solution for this brief that highlighted key dates within bail terms. These were created simplistically to help young offenders remember and meet bail considerations.
After testing the prototype evolved into stickers which users said gave positive feedback on because they are tactile(helping young offenders with sensory stimulation during a stressful time, have audio features for disability support, and their adaptable to the financial challenges of young offenders who in most cases have little or no access to phones. Therefore there was a need for the creation of a prototype or solution that caters to this factor.
